Set Realistic Weight Loss Goals

To make sure your weight loss goals are helpful as possible, fitness expert Lynne Brick-owner of Brick Bodies Health Clubs in Baltimore-recommends using a mental checklist called REAL.

Your goals should be:

Realistic. Make sure they're doable, not daunting.

Explicit. For instance, decide how many miles you'd like to walk each day.

Actionable. Break big goals into small, achievable parts.

Livable. If you feel good about what you're doing, you'll keep doing it!

Setting weight loss goals can be the breaking point in your quest to losing weight.
