Successful Weight Loss Tips

Over the past years weight loss, diet, and fitness are words for short time action that motivation only took them for a month of working out.

Success and reaching your health and fitness goals can easily be achieved if you follow these simple rules for a better and healthier you. Ya ready then lets get started.

10 Permanent Weight Loss Strategies:

1) Exercise. yeah, I know its nothing you heard before but when you look back on why you only lost so much weight it is probably caused by the lack of exercise. Seeking long term weight loss and maintaining all your achievements takes continued dedication but in the long run it is all worth it.

To make it alittle easier try to keep your life active with walking, doing active activities, and staying busy.

2) Resistance training. This does not mean you will get bulky but with lifting weights it will speed up your weight loss and help you tone and lean up your body.
The basic reason is that the more lean muscle tissue you have, the more calories you will burn each day. This is why world class weight lifters must eat thousands of calories a day to maintain their weight.

Muscle is active tissue, fat is not. Thus, muscle "burns" a significant number of calories each day for its own maintenance. But don't be worried about gaining a lot of muscle as most weight lifters take supplements, have intense workouts, and do no cardio.

Lift weights to burn fat for weight loss and a lean and toned body.

3) Keep a dairy.
Keeping a food and exercise diary can be a huge asset in your success towards weight loss. Devote time each day to record what you have eaten and how much, your hunger level prior to eating, and any feelings or emotions present at the time. A food diary can provide a large amount of self-awareness. It can identify emotions and behaviors that trigger overeating, foster greater awareness of portion sizes, and help you discover your personal food triggers.

Once you have done this for about a month or two you will be able to stop recording what you eat as you will know the amount that is healthy for you to eat for meaintaining or losing weight. It is not that time consuming or difficult so give it a shot.

4) Keep focus on being healthy. When you focus on only the weight, look, and being like the people on tv or magazines that is when you take health and fitness to a level that is not healthy for you.

Stay away from diets that take away part of the food groups as they all offer you vital health benefits that will help keep your body strong and healthy while giving you the edge to lose weight and develop a lean and tone body.

5) Know your weaknesses. One of the hardess things is knowing what foods trigger you to lose control and make you forget or put aside your health and fitness goals.

All too often overeating is triggered by stress, boredom, loneliness, anger, depression and other emotions. Learning to deal with emotions without food is a significant skill that will greatly serve long term weight control.

6) Find support. Having someone cheering you on makes eating healthy and sticking to an exercise program that much easier than doing it all by yourself. Look for people around you that have the same goals as you and will parter up with you in your desire for healthy living and eating a nutritist diet.

7) Lose weight gradually. It happens to so many people that they get so motivated that they take their exercise and nutrition to an over excessive level and burn out. If you are new or have not had that much success in losing weight than take it slow and easy and incorporate small changes into your life that will benefit you over time.

8) Eat slowly. Finding time to sit down and eat can become tricky sometimes but when people don't pay attention and eat slowly, they often eat more than they needed and that is why America is overweight.

If taking time to eat slowly is difficult for you than make sure you eat something that you know is the right portion and that is healthy for you.

9) Portion sizes. This is one I even struggle with but it can make you or break you when losing weight is on the line. The biggest word that is affecting how much people eat is "super-size" that may I add has caused families to eat a forth more food than they use to before restraunats came out with large portions of food.

By eating small frequent meals we are allowing our bodies to digest the food and raise our metabolism while keeping our insulin level stable. Burn the fat and keep your metabolism burning calories all day long.

10) Cut down on fat. Eating high fattening foods are becoming a problem as fats are high density foods that pack on the calories in no time. So try to limit the amount of fats you in take as well as the types of fats you eat.

Healthy Breakfast On The Go!

For many people, breakfast is a cup of coffee on the run. But even if you're in a hurry, you can make healthy choices and eat a breakfast that will provide you with essential nutrients and lasting energy and weight loss.

Instructions

  • STEP 1: Take breakfast with you - stash a whole-grain bagel or muffin, a hard-boiled egg, yogurt or a small jar of peanut butter and some fruit in your bag and take it with you to work.
  • STEP 2: Shop in advance. Buy fresh-squeezed juices in small containers, whole-grain unsweetened cereal that just needs hot water added, eggs to hard-boil. This way you'll have breakfast ready every morning to take along to work, or you can eat it in the car.
  • STEP 3: Be creative. Take along a slice of leftover pizza, or pack up a leftover casserole.
  • STEP 4: Buy breakfast on your way to work if you don't have time to pack up a breakfast or eat before leaving the house. Check out stores and cafés near your house and en route to work. Check their hours and pick ones that will be open early. Avoid buying sweet pastries and doughnuts, which provide empty calories and will set you up for a massive energy slump.
  • STEP 5: Opt for low-sugar, high-fiber, high-protein choices. Choose a bagel and cream cheese, a whole-grain fruit-juice-sweetened muffin, scrambled eggs on an English muffin or a slice of quiche.
  • STEP 6: Read labels on the popular breakfast and energy bars. Many are very high in sugar and not as healthy as they appear.
  • STEP 7: Eat something in the morning even if you are not very hungry. A banana or apple is a healthy snack, or you could have a slice of whole-grain toast. These are quick and easy to eat at home, take along or buy on the run.

Tips & Warnings

  • Avoid skipping breakfast if you are trying to lose weight. It will not help you lose weight any faster, and in fact, you may end up eating a larger lunch to compensate.

Finding Motivation For Weight Loss

Motivation for achieving weight loss is by far the first step that needs to be taken to make sure you won't fail and give up. Finding a drive and reason for you wanting to succeed is what needs to be done before nutrition, exercise, etc.

Being able to off back the your reasons and goals you listed out before is the best way to stay strong and keep going towards a healthier body.

So how can you create this motivation?

What must you do:

Most people begin with motivation but it usually fails soon later when things get a little hard. Seeing a hypnosis could help you figure out these issues and help you find a medium on what you would like to achieve and how dedicated you are.

Accepting your body type and who you are is another tips to help you not get stressed out when things do not go your way. Your body may not be built like some of the super models you see on tv but why would you want to be that skinny anyway?

Another thing is to focus on the positives to not get yourself down when things go bad. There will always be those bumps and stall in your health and fitness journey but stay positive and things will workout for the best.

Setting goals is what I believe to be the bread and butter of completely your health and weight loss goals. Small and big goals need to be made to shoot for something that will give people more motivation.

  • write down your goals

  • set easy goals often so you create a habit of success in the mind

  • set measurable goals - I will lose 1 pound each week. This gives you something to go for

  • tell friends and family about your goals for motivational support

  • make any routine fun and exciting to help maintain interest

  • try new challenging goals to stop your normal routine from becoming a chore

  • reward your success on reaching a goal

  • think positively, replace thoughts like "I can't" with "I can and I will"

  • don't set goals that are too much too soon

Have a great day and God bless!

My Experience With Spiritual Health and Fitness

I love everything about health, fitness, weight loss, etc. you name it, I love it! Finding a purpose for loving health so much was always something of interest to me. Why did I have such a passion?

It was God's plan.

I know my interest in healthy living was laid before by God as everything I do in this area flurishes like nothing else.

Teaching, business, gambling just does not sound that interesting to me but health and fitness is something that I will never get tired of learning and doing.

What is your passion or why do you want to be healthier?

Have you ever thought about our passions or why you really really want a healthier life? Is it because the way you look, feel or even you want to improve your life and everything else is not working.

I am just going to tell you now that when I found the reason for my purpose and drive towards health, weight loss, and fitness everything is happening for the best.

I am a strong believer in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior as I have studied and researched about other religions and the evolution side, but only one thing became real. Jesus Christ is the Son of the Most High and came to earth to save us from our sins and death.

God has put so much into my life and is using my passion of health, fitness, and my website top weight loss site to try to explain to people of living for a purpose that has no dead end but everlasting life.

I have found my passion and reason to live. Have you?

Fasting An Obsession For Weight Loss

Why is it that people feel like in order to achieve weight loss they must fast. It is a terrible and misleading myth that will hurt the body more than help it.

It’s almost a shame so much need be said on fasting for health. Enemas, juice machines, colon cleansers, detoxification—for most this will be helpful information and a comfort, but for a few, overabundant knowledge will increase anxiety.

So many products are being created for people that want to try fasting for a way to lose weight. It is absolutely unneccessary.

Fasting may drop you a couple pound really quit but mark my words, those pounds will come back leaving you with even more fat and less lean muscle.

Fasting causes weight gain!

If you want to fast than try fasting once a week and see how that holds up as it gives your body six days to heel itself backup.

On the other days eat healthy and exercise as that is the best way to improve your health and fitness level. Make sure you don't eat too much though. Try to eat 500 calories lower than your BMR to help keep your metabolism high but low enough to lose weight during non-fast days.

Remember fasting hurts you more in the long run and you can learn more my website at top weight loss site on fasting, weight loss, and much much more...

Overeating Hurting Our Health & Weight Loss

Why is it from time to time we over do it on the foods we love. We know we are trying to achieve weight loss but the foods we love are too tempting. What can we do about it?

Control our stress...Thats it!

Most overeating is caused by stress, emotional eating, and enjoyment but we must know that our lives can not be certeres around food. I have had days where I only ate around 2000 calories instead of 3500 calories like I usually do and feel great. By maintaining a healthy body, exercise frequently, and calming down your life to release the stress is the solution.

So many people are being mention to having eating disorders but what the real problem is that their stress or in an emotional state.

If we want to take control of our living in persuit of a healthy lifestyle than we must keep in mind our emtional eating as it controls millions of people. Does it control you?

Take a day or two and think about this issue as it is one that needs to be solved. More information you can find on my website top weight loss site and more in depth.

What To And Not To Eat For Weight Loss!

As I have mentioned before that a diet is what you eat and not a strick set of guidelines you must follow like the South Beach diet.

The only diet that will help you achieve weight loss and good eating habits is one that you can stick to. We are not made to only eat fats and proteins because our body needs carbohydrates and we cannot eat only a group of foods as our body needs a different variety to stay strong and healthy.

Here are a couple tips that should help you eat what you need to and avoid foods that you don't need.

1) Consume more greens and vegtables in your diets as we live in a day and age where walking to the store and back or working out in the field all day is not apart of most of our lifestyles.

2) Try to eat more healthy fats like olive oil, avocado, flax seed oil, and nuts instead of trans and saturated fats.

3) Eat a variety of different color and taste foods so your body gets all the vitamins and minerals it needs.

4) The fact is that we cannot get enough vitamins and minerals from our food as we like so supplemention is key for the healthy body.

5) Last, try your best to consume foods as natural as possible and not processed. I am not saying only eat organic foods but do your best to eat freshly as possible foods.

Our body need all sorts of macro and micro nutrients to get enough vitamins and minerals to support digestion and the activity in our lives. If you do not focus on your nutrition than working out will give very few results.

The best possible advice I can give to you about foods not to eat is foods that are greatly processed and made. I love to make things from scratch and that is why I don't have to have health insurance for the most part.

Build your body against all the unwanted sicknesses and diseases out there by exercing and eating healthy.

For now that is it but please give me some response on what you would like me to research and find out for you while adding in my top weight loss site websites information.

Have a great day and God bless!

Healthy Eating At College Part 4

Dorm Room Remedies

What do I do if I am already on a weight loss meal plan but I still get hungry inbetween meals, when I am studying, and at night?

Keep you room filled with healthy snacks for those times when your body needs that extra energy. But if possible, try to survive without food after 10pm as your body will stored that food as fat if you don't burn it off before you go to bed.

Some healthy snacks:

  • Oatmeal
  • Peanuts
  • Tuna fish
  • Fresh fruit
  • Vegetables
  • Protein bars
If you are a big lover of pizza and other snacks at 2am in the morning than I believe the best thing to do is train your body not to be hungry at night. Having snacks throughout the day is fine but at 2am you are just looking to gain weight.

Try to avoid these foods as much as possible if you are able to or just eat them in moderation and not all at night. If you want to achieve weight loss than you will have to focus on what you eat.

Good luck and God bless!
