Fasting An Obsession For Weight Loss

Why is it that people feel like in order to achieve weight loss they must fast. It is a terrible and misleading myth that will hurt the body more than help it.

It’s almost a shame so much need be said on fasting for health. Enemas, juice machines, colon cleansers, detoxification—for most this will be helpful information and a comfort, but for a few, overabundant knowledge will increase anxiety.

So many products are being created for people that want to try fasting for a way to lose weight. It is absolutely unneccessary.

Fasting may drop you a couple pound really quit but mark my words, those pounds will come back leaving you with even more fat and less lean muscle.

On the other days eat healthy and exercise as that is the best way to improve your health and fitness level. Make sure you don't eat too much though. Try to eat 500 calories lower than your BMR to help keep your metabolism high but low enough to lose weight during non-fast days.
