Healthy or Not: Granola!

Granola in the morning with some yogurt on top can be one of the most delious breaskfasts you could ever make. It also sounds like a good fat burning meal if your goal if weight loss or improving your healthy eating habits.

Or is it?

Let me just give you the run down on how much calories granola actual has and you can decide if it is a good choice for losing weight.

Granola Nutrition Facts:

Orignal Granola 1 Cup

1) 598 calories

2) 29.7 g fat

3) 27 mg sodium

3) 64.6 g Carbohydrates

4) 10.5 g fiber

5) 24.5 g sugar

6) 18.1 g protein

And that is only one cup! I usually have two so for me it is double...Crap!

Some breakfast bars are an excellent idea but make sure you eat the ones that are low-fat as the calories can add up very quickly.

Even though something might look healthy doesn't really mean it is so be careful and make sure you read the labels.
